ESAS programs are collaborative endeavors that aim to infuse arts and creativity with immediate impact, contributing to the development of intelligent, sustainable, and resilient communities. Operating through three interconnected pathways—Beyond Arts, Good Society, and Just Economy—ESAS explores cutting-edge arts, fosters ethical intelligence in human progress, and advocates for environmentally responsible, socially equitable, and economically viable paradigms.

Beyond Arts

Healthy Discourse on Women and Decolonization

In the focus group discussion, Debra Yatim, Felia Salim, Prof. Melani Budianta, Alia Swastika, Kelana Wisnu, and Ines Somellera explore the inequities stemming from significant disadvantages experienced by women, as well as the effects of decolonization in both Indonesia and Mexico.

Good Society

Dialogue Lab

The continuation and deepening of the leadership laboratory, where ESAS explores solutions to address the social, economic, ecological, and spiritual divides through design and systems thinking. The methodologies and tools employed encompass sketching, writing, and theater-making.

Just Economy

Grounding Innovation

ESAS collaborates with East Java’s Papring Village and Kampoeng Batara, merging local wisdom, art, and creativity for community progress through initiatives like soil and water restoration, enhancing local livelihoods, and expanding digital readiness.

K/Lab is a laboratory of culinary experiences that focuses on the dialogue between cultures through ingredients sourced from local farmers, the rediscovery of the value of heritage and, the knowledge of healthy benefits of biodiverse produce.
