During their stay in Mexico, Felia Salim and Inés Somellera continued working in Oncemujeres, with research assistance. Oncemujeres is an ongoing research project exploring the lives, contributions, and transformative legacies of women who have shaped Mexican history.

We have looked at several important Mexican historical female heroins who have fought against repression and inequality. We found that as a common denominator all of them have one common goal: to achieve justice.
