The Transformational Leadership Learning Lab (LLL), in collaboration with @uidindonesia, took place last Friday, April 9th, 2021, gathering over 100 participants from various corners of the world, spanning different continents and time zones. This event was a resounding success, and we extend our heartfelt gratitude to all who participated. We proudly extend our congratulations to our graduates and express our hope that they will continue to be catalysts for a brighter future in Indonesia. In our relentless pursuit of a Good Society, we recognize our multifaceted challenges in addressing socioeconomic, ecological, and spiritual divides. ESAS’s Good Society – Transformational Leadership Learning Lab was designed to bring together a diverse group of fellows from various cultural backgrounds and professional disciplines. At the core of our approach lies the U Theory, a social technology developed by Otto Scharmer of MIT and the founder of the Presencing Institute. The U Theory advocates a profound shift from a personal, individual-centered perspective to a collective, group-centered one, aiming to foster harmonious coexistence—a hallmark of a Good Society. This transformative process empowers us to actively work towards creating a healthier planet and an improved quality of life for all. The essence of this method lies in its ability to tap into our innate capacity for innovation, significantly enhancing our capability to achieve groundbreaking results. However, the ESAS Good Society Program takes Theory U a step further by incorporating artistic expression as a pivotal tool for accessing the wellspring of untapped potential within each of us. This inner knowing propels us forward on the journey towards building a more just and equitable world.
