It was an enchanting day in Guadalajara, Mexico, as we embarked on a journey led by the passionate Contemporary Arts Curator Rodrigo Santoscoy (@arqueologiarodrigo). Rodrigo, hailing from Guadalajara, seamlessly merges his deep love for the arts with his culinary prowess in his latest venture, “Clase de Cocina”: Dialogues When Sharing Food at the Table. This project beautifully encapsulates the intersection of his curatorial profession and his profound connection to food and cooking. While exploring Guadalajara, Rodrigo graciously shared his insights and thought process while introducing us to some of his favorite places and the remarkable individuals who have breathed life into them. Our architectural senses were delighted with a glimpse of Casa Cristo by the renowned Architect Luis Barragan, followed by a visit to the artistic haven of Tiro al Blanco (@tiroalblancogaleria) and the innovative Efidicio Transversal. The participants immersed themselves in the rich tapestry of Guadalajara’s contemporary culture and art scene as we followed Rodrigo Santoscoy on this inspiring journey.
