Latin America movie screening

ESAS proudly presented its Latin America Movie Screening event, recognizing that film is one of the most effective and accessible mediums, especially for young audiences. Given the limited resources of Latin American cinema, ESAS wholeheartedly embraced collaborations with various Latin American Embassies in Jakarta. This partnership resulted in a series of successful screenings, including the prestigious Latin American Film Festival 2018 and special screenings featuring works from three renowned Mexican directors. Throughout the years, ESAS organized numerous movie weeks, further enriching the cinematic experiences of its audience. These collaborative efforts extended beyond borders. ESAS worked closely with embassies from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Mexico, and Peru to bring these cinematic treasures to Jakarta. This event was a testament to ESAS’s commitment to enriching the human experience through cross-cultural and cross-disciplinary exchanges. Collaboration remained at the core of ESAS’s mission, and the organization continuously sought partnerships with individuals and entities within Indonesia and across the globe to achieve its lofty goals. Importantly, ESAS operated as a not-for-profit organization, emphasizing its dedication to promoting collaboration, innovation, and enrichment over commercial gains. Through events like the Latin America Movie Screening, ESAS aimed to bridge cultures and ignite meaningful dialogues, fostering a sense of togetherness that transcended boundaries and enriched the human experience.
