Professor Daudsjah, an Indonesian music scholar who graduated from Musikhocschule Freiburg, Germany, brought her knowledge to the forefront. As the founder of the Institute Music Daya Indonesia in Jakarta, she has dedicated her life to the study and appreciation of music. For this exceptional event, ESAS invited a distinguished guest speaker, Veronica Nunn, an accomplished American jazz singer renowned for her remarkable career. Veronica Nunn’s mesmerizing voice has graced the stage as the featured vocalist with Michael Franks since 1992. Her insights and experiences in music added a unique and invaluable perspective to the evening. This enlightening lecture and concert were organized as a prelude to the Festival LIFE in Salihara, Jakarta, setting the stage for celebrating music, culture, and artistic expression.
